The single guys were waiting and ready to cheer the girls up. Kristin thought Melissa might be retaliating for what she saw at bonfire by getting closer with Jerome. They spent the whole night together.

Meanwhile, Jeff and Stephanie went off together to look at the stars and they had an immediate bond as well. Their romance appeared to be maturing.

After the guys bonfire, Michael told Jason that one of the single girls was telling the camera things about Jason that wasn’t true regarding his girlfriend. As a result, at dinner, Jason stood up and yelled at Sandra for saying things about Jason.

Everyone at the table was in shock when he called her out and they all went silent for the remainder of dinner.

The next day at Palmetto Jeff talked to Kristin about his feelings with Kara and said they’re not on a level greater than friends. He told Kristin that everything makes sense for him with Stephanie. Jeff said he didn’t want to make the leap with Kara beyond friendship. And that he moved in on Stephanie and told her how strongly he felt for her.

Stephanie on the other hand said Jeff is very nice and sincere, but very overwhelming. She said she understands Jeff more than anyone, but she needed some breathing room and needed him to understand that she still has a boyfriend.

Back at Luna, the single girls talked about Jason’s outburst against Sandra. Kaileen was particularly startled and said Sandra didn’t deserve it. Erryn on the other hand said that Sandra shouldn’t have said things on camera that she didn’t know anything about.

Sandra felt worse about Michael’s reaction than anything else. Sandra was pining after Michael but he turned on her when he sided with Jason. Michael then said he regretted keeping Sandra there in the first place because of all the dirt she was spreading about everyone.

Mark brought the guys together for what they thought was a vote off. Instead, Mark told the guys to pick a girl for their final date. All the girls had to sit next to the guys and tell them how they felt about them to help make up the minds of the guys.

The guys picked their dates. Jason picked Eve. Eric picked Kaileen. Michael picked Ida and Anthony picked Ashley.

Michael was thrilled to go snorkeling with Ida because he said she was “smoking.” They had a great date and Michael said he made a mistake by prejudging her. Ida also said her attraction grew for him.

Eric and Kaileen went mountain biking. Eric however only thought about Kristin and doesn’t seem to have made a connection with anyone.

Jason chose Eve on his date. He picked her because no one had picked her for a date and he felt bad for her. They went windsurfing, but neither had much success at it. No real connection here either though.

Anthony and Ashley had a great date. Ashley said she wanted to be around him all the time, even though she knows he has a girlfriend. They seem to be making a great connection. After going boating, they had a meal together and continued making a strong bond. Anthony compared his feelings to when he first met Stephanie.

Later that evening, Mark visited the guys again. The girls immediately speculated that there was an elimination about to happen. Mark tells them that one girl must leave the island. The guys made their decision very quickly and told Sandra that it’s time for her to go.

Over at Palmetto, the girls decided to surprise the guys by wearing really nice black dresses. Melissa said that Jeff was very confusing to her and how quickly he changed from Kara to Stephanie. Kara said she wasn’t going to interfere. Stephanie asked him to back off a little because she had too much on her mind to deal with Jeff putting himself out there all the time.

Later that night, Melissa got closer to Jerome. Kristin on the other hand made it very clear to Melissa that she didn’t respect Jerome. Melissa and Kristin got into a very heated verbal fight about Jerome which ended when Melissa threatened to strangle Kristin.

The next day, Melissa said that Kristin was there for the wrong reasons and meddling too much into her experience. Kristin said that by Jerome staying there was affecting her experience.

Mark then called the girls back together and told them to pick their next dates. He then told them that before they chose their dates, they had to vote off one guy. Evidently Derrick had told the girls he wanted to go home so the girls let him go.

Derrick told us that he wanted to go home because he was getting too close to Stephanie and how he didn’t want to get in between her and Jeff.

For their dates, Stephanie chose Michael to go on her date, surprising Jeff. She said she wanted to take a day off from everyone.

Kristin then chose Giulio because she knew they’d have a great time on their date. Kara picked Ian because they had been hanging out a lot and she wanted to know him more. Finally Melissa chose Jerome and stated that she didn’t care what anyone else thought about it.

Melissa and Jerome went out sailing and Melissa was thrilled as to how sweet he was to her. They had a great date that was very relaxing and Melissa said she regretted listening to anyone talking negatively about him.

Kristin and Giulio also went out on a boat and went fishing. Giulio made sure that the date was as relaxing as possible.

Stephanie and Michael went on a zip line through the jungle. Stephanie said her spirits were picked up because of how fun the date was.

Kara and Ian went scuba diving on their date. They had a great time and Kara said she wanted to do it again. Kara said she didn’t see any romantic connection, but the trip isn’t over yet.

At Luna, everyone relaxed following the Sandra incident. Eric was talking a lot with Ida but Ida said that he hasn’t learned anything through this experience because he left all his emotions behind and that he hasn’t changed one bit since he’d been there. She also said that she liked Michael but she’d been holding back because of Tiffany.

Tiffany and Michael meanwhile got even closer. Apparently though, Michael told Tiffany some very dirty things sexually. Tiffany said she didn’t know how to respond, so she simply laughs it off for a lack of anything else to say.

The next day the guys reflected a lot about their girlfriends. Jason in particular felt very strongly about Kara. The girls were also reflecting a lot and constantly wondering about their boyfriends and respective relationships.

At bonfire, Mark told them it’s the last bonfire before they get back together with their girls. Mark told them he had to play the video. Eric decided not to watch Kristin while it played. Michael then decided to watch his and saw Melissa hanging out a lot with Jerome and also fighting with Kristin.

Jason finally decided to watch his video for the first time. He heard Kara say she may not want to be in a relationship. Jason took it like a man and said that’s why they’re at Temptation Island.

Anthony watched his video which showed Stephanie and Jeff getting very close together. He said that no matter what, it’s always Stephanie that he thinks about – despite his feelings for Ashley.

When the girls arrived at bonfire, Mark told them the clips were must play clips and the girls can do whatever they want as far as watching them. He gave Kristin her video first. She saw Eric watching girls dance and drinking a little but nothing more.

Kara then watched her video and saw Jason yelling at Sandra. After watching the video, Kara wondered if Jason was the kind of guy she would want to spend the rest of her life with.

Stephanie then watched her video. She saw Anthony hanging out with Ashley on the hammock. She was clearly upset by it but didn’t want to talk about it.

Mark then gave Melissa her tape to watch. He handed her headphones and told her that some of the content on the tape wasn’t suitable for TV so she’d have to listen to it privately. On the video we saw Michael getting very close with Tiffany but we don’t hear what he said.

Melissa was clearly distraught from what she saw and heard. She said it was shocking to see him and didn’t understand what Michael was thinking. She also said he may not be the man she thought he was.
